Hi! We’re Dave and Roxanne Obiso from Calgary, Canada. We’re Filipino immigrants, parents, and family-first entrepreneurs.
If you’re an immigrant parent or a busy provider, you may understand this feeling — working long hours, doing your best for your family, yet still wishing you had more time together.A few years ago, that was our life.
We were both in demanding corporate jobs. We were grateful for stable work, but deep down we wanted more time for family, more freedom in our schedule, and a life aligned with our values and faith. We also dreamed about raising a family without always being exhausted from work.
Like many people searching for options, we explored different businesses — over 24 attempts, including traditional network marketing. Some worked a little, many didn’t. What tired us most was constantly chasing friends and family or feeling pressure to sell.
We started praying for wisdom and a better path. We weren’t looking for “quick money.” We were looking for a sustainable way to support our future family and live with purpose.
In October 2018, we discovered a simple online business model that focused on digital systems, education, and serving people online instead of chasing people offline. It was beginner-friendly and could be done from home.
We started slowly while still working. Step by step, we learned how online marketing and remote business worked. Over time, this gave us more flexibility, helped us manage our schedule better, and allowed us to be more present as parents.
Today, we spend more time raising our son, being involved in ministry, and helping other families learn new income skills online. We’re still learning and growing, but we’re grateful for a path that supports both family life and meaningful work.
